Configuring an External Repository
Aruba Central (on-premises) supports SCPSecure Copy Protocol. SCP is a network protocol that supports file transfers between hosts on a network. or SFTPSecure File Transfer Protocol. SFTP is a network protocol that allows file access, file transfer, and file management functions over a secure connection. servers as external repositories for file transfer. Users may be asked to provide the external server credentials every time they try to access these repositories. Aruba Central (on-premises) allows you to configure repository settings at once and use this information for all operations.
To configure external repository settings:
1. In the app, filter .
2. Under , click

tab is displayed.3. Click tab.
4. Click the tab. The page opens.
5. To add a new repository, click the plus icon (+). The pop-up window opens.
6. Enter the following details:
—Name of the external repository
—Select the file transfer protocol. For example, SCP or SFTP.
—Enter the server address.
—Enter the port number.
—User name of the server access.
—Password for server access.
7. Click .
