Downloading MIB files

You can download and use the MIBManagement Information Base. A hierarchical database used by SNMP to manage the devices being monitored. files in your SNMPSimple Network Management Protocol. SNMP is a TCP/IP standard protocol for managing devices on IP networks. Devices that typically support SNMP include routers, switches, servers, workstations, printers, modem racks, and more. To download MIB files:

  1. In the Network Operations app, filter All Devices.

  2. Under Settings, click Global Settings.

    The System Setup tab is displayed.

  3. Click the System tab.

  4. Click Notifications tab.

    The Syslog Servers and SNMP Servers accordions are displayed.

  5. Below the SNMP Servers accordion, click Download MIB files.

    A MIB.gz file is downloaded.
