Configuring an External Repository
Aruba Central (on-premises) supports SCPSecure Copy Protocol. SCP is a network protocol that supports file transfers between hosts on a network. or SFTPSecure File Transfer Protocol. SFTP is a network protocol that allows file access, file transfer, and file management functions over a secure connection. servers as external repositories for file transfer. Users may be asked to provide the external server credentials every time they try to access these repositories. Aruba Central (on-premises) allows you to configure repository settings at once and use this information for all operations.
To configure external repository settings:
- In the app, filter .
- Under , click The tab is displayed.
- Click tab.
- Click the tab. The page opens.
- To add a new repository, click the plus icon (+). The pop-up window opens.
- Enter the following details:
- —Name of the external repository
- —Select the file transfer protocol. For example, SCP or SFTP.
- —Enter the server address.
- —Enter the port number.
- —User name of the server access.
- —Password for server access.
- Click .
