Enabling ALG Protocols on IAPs
To configure ALGApplication Layer Gateway. ALG is a security component that manages application layer protocols such as SIP, FTP and so on. protocols on Instant Access Points (IAPs), complete the following steps:
- In the app, set the filter to a group containing at least one AP.
The dashboard context for the group is displayed.
- Under , click > .
A list of APs is displayed in the view.
- Click the icon.
The tabs to configure the APs are displayed.
- Click .
- Click the tab.
The Security page is displayed.
- Click the Wireless IDS/IPS accordion.
- Under , set the toggle button against the corresponding protocol to enable , , , , , and protocols.
- Click Save Settings.
When the protocols for the ALG are disabled, the changes do not take effect until the existing user sessions have expired. Reboot the IAP and the client, or wait a few minutes for changes to take effect.
