Audit Alerts
Aruba Central allows administrators to enable alerts for configuration changes at group level. The alert is under tab. Configuration change alerts are intended for administrators handling large distributed network. Alerts are triggered under the following scenarios:
- Create New Template
- Update Existing Template
- Variable Upload
- Device Level: Sends an alert with additional parameters such as serial number and MACMedia Access Control. A MAC address is a unique identifier assigned to network interfaces for communications on a network. address of the device.
- Group Level: Sends an alert with respective group name.
- Configuration restore
- Configuration change at Device Level
- Configuration change at Group Level
The alert content includes the following information:
- Group Name
- Device Type
- User ID
- Config Change
- Device Serial number and MAC Address
