Using MultiEdit View for AOS-CX
This section describes the configuration and viewing procedures for the AOS-CX switches in the MultiEdit mode.
MultiEdit mode configuration is applicable only at the device level and allows configuring a single or multiple switches using the CLI syntax.
To configure or view details of the switches provisioned in UI groups, complete the following steps:
- In the app, select one of the following options:
- To select a group in the filter:
- Set the filter to a group.
The dashboard context for the group is displayed.
- Under , click > .
- Click the or icon to view the AOS-CX switch configuration dashboard.
- Set the filter to a group.
- To select a switch:
- Set the filter to or a group containing at least one switch.
- Under , click > .
A list of switches is displayed in the view.
- Click an AOS-CX switch under .
The dashboard context for the switch is displayed.
- Under , click .
The AOS-CX UI configuration page is displayed.
- To select a group in the filter:
- To enable MultiEdit mode, move the toggle switch to the on position.
The page is displayed with the list of devices displayed in the table.
At the device level, the table lists only the switch that you have selected. Also, a pop-up is displayed on the bottom-right corner of the page with the options , , and .
- Search for a switch by entering a search query in the field.

The following table describes the columns in the table.

Firmware version installed on the switch.
Timestamp when the configuration on the switch was last modified.
Status of the switch, whether or .
Status of the configuration sync between Aruba Central (on-premises) and the switch.
- —Configuration is in sync between Aruba Central (on-premises) and the switch.
- —Configuration is not in sync due to a connection error.
- —Configuration is not in sync because configuration was modified outside Aruba Central (on-premises).
- —Configuration is not in sync because Aruba Central (on-premises) is still pushing configuration to the switch.
Consolidated status of the NAE agents running on the switch. Following are the supported values:
- —The agent has encountered a critical error during execution.
- —The agent has encountered a major error during execution.
- —The agent has encountered a minor error during execution.
- —The agent is actively monitoring network conditions and handling events.
- —The agent is disabled.
- —The agent status is unknown.
MACMedia Access Control. A MAC address is a unique identifier assigned to network interfaces for communications on a network. address of the switch.
IP address of the switch.
Serial number of the switch.
Model number of the switch.
The MultiEdit mode provides an option to view or edit switch configuration or apply predefined configurations to the switches.
